Waipahu, HI – At The Arch Project Climbing Center on the island of Oahu, people are encouraged to “climb Pono”. In the Hawaiian language Pono is the personal and organizational value of rightness and balance. Pono fully embraces the attitudes of positivity and optimism. We worked with the team at The Arch to design a climbing gym that would embrace the idea of living Pono, focusing on creating an open, energetic space that encourages positive growth of the climbing community. The result is an amazing gym and a dedicated team of people committed to nurturing the values of climbing Pono.
